Correspondents on WSC's race horses and racing activities include: Kathleen Taylor, Private Secretary to Christopher Soames (3); Christopher Soames (13) on subjects including the finances of the stud, names for foals, the gift of a pony to Emma [Soames, later Emma MacManus], family news and naval estimates; Vera Pullinger of the Chartwell Estate Office (3); and Walter Nightingall [WSC's trainer].
